Properties

accessibleRole?: AccessibleRole

The accessible role of the given GtkAccessible implementation.

Whether the widget or any of its descendents can accept the input focus.

This property is meant to be set by widget implementations, typically in their instance init function.

canTarget?: boolean

Whether the widget can receive pointer events.

content?: Gtk.Widget

The content widget.

It's always displayed when unfolded, and partially visible when folded.

cssClasses?: string[]

A list of css classes applied to this widget.

cssName?: string

The name of this widget in the CSS tree.

This property is meant to be set by widget implementations, typically in their instance init function.

cursor?: Gdk.Cursor

flap?: Gtk.Widget

The flap widget.

It's only visible when [propertyFlap:reveal-progress] is greater than 0.

flapPosition?: Gtk.PackType

The flap position.

If it's set to GTK_PACK_START, the flap is displayed before the content, if GTK_PACK_END, it's displayed after the content.

focusOnClick?: boolean

Whether the widget should grab focus when it is clicked with the mouse.

This property is only relevant for widgets that can take focus.

focusable?: boolean

Whether this widget itself will accept the input focus.

foldDuration?: number

The fold transition animation duration, in milliseconds.

foldPolicy?: Adw.FlapFoldPolicy

The fold policy for the flap.

foldThresholdPolicy?: FoldThresholdPolicy

Determines when the flap will fold.

If set to ADW_FOLD_THRESHOLD_POLICY_MINIMUM, flap will only fold when the children cannot fit anymore. With ADW_FOLD_THRESHOLD_POLICY_NATURAL, it will fold as soon as children don't get their natural size.

This can be useful if you have a long ellipsizing label and want to let it ellipsize instead of immediately folding.

halign?: Gtk.Align

How to distribute horizontal space if widget gets extra space.

hasTooltip?: boolean

Enables or disables the emission of the ::query-tooltip signal on widget.

A value of %TRUE indicates that widget can have a tooltip, in this case the widget will be queried using [signalGtk.Widget::query-tooltip] to determine whether it will provide a tooltip or not.

heightRequest?: number

Override for height request of the widget.

If this is -1, the natural request will be used.

hexpand?: boolean

Whether to expand horizontally.

hexpandSet?: boolean

Whether to use the hexpand property.

layoutManager?: Gtk.LayoutManager

The GtkLayoutManager instance to use to compute the preferred size of the widget, and allocate its children.

This property is meant to be set by widget implementations, typically in their instance init function.

locked?: boolean

Whether the flap is locked.

If FALSE, folding when the flap is revealed automatically closes it, and unfolding it when the flap is not revealed opens it. If TRUE, [propertyFlap:reveal-flap] value never changes on its own.

marginBottom?: number

Margin on bottom side of widget.

This property adds margin outside of the widget's normal size request, the margin will be added in addition to the size from [methodGtk.Widget.set_size_request] for example.

marginEnd?: number

Margin on end of widget, horizontally.

This property supports left-to-right and right-to-left text directions.

This property adds margin outside of the widget's normal size request, the margin will be added in addition to the size from [methodGtk.Widget.set_size_request] for example.

marginStart?: number

Margin on start of widget, horizontally.

This property supports left-to-right and right-to-left text directions.

This property adds margin outside of the widget's normal size request, the margin will be added in addition to the size from [methodGtk.Widget.set_size_request] for example.

marginTop?: number

Margin on top side of widget.

This property adds margin outside of the widget's normal size request, the margin will be added in addition to the size from [methodGtk.Widget.set_size_request] for example.

modal?: boolean

Whether the flap is modal.

If TRUE, clicking the content widget while flap is revealed, as well as pressing the Esc key, will close the flap. If FALSE, clicks are passed through to the content widget.

name?: string

The name of the widget.

opacity?: number

The requested opacity of the widget.

orientation?: Gtk.Orientation

The orientation of the orientable.

overflow?: Overflow

How content outside the widget's content area is treated.

The default value is equivalent to:

adw_spring_params_new (1, 0.5, 500)
sensitive?: boolean

Whether the widget responds to input.

separator?: Gtk.Widget

The separator widget.

It's displayed between content and flap when there's no shadow to display. When exactly it's visible depends on the [propertyFlap:transition-type] value.

swipeToClose?: boolean

Whether the flap can be closed with a swipe gesture.

The area that can be swiped depends on the [propertyFlap:transition-type] value.

swipeToOpen?: boolean

Whether the flap can be opened with a swipe gesture.

The area that can be swiped depends on the [propertyFlap:transition-type] value.

tooltipMarkup?: string

Sets the text of tooltip to be the given string, which is marked up with Pango markup.

Also see [methodGtk.Tooltip.set_markup].

This is a convenience property which will take care of getting the tooltip shown if the given string is not %NULL: [propertyGtk.Widget:has-tooltip] will automatically be set to %TRUE and there will be taken care of [signalGtk.Widget::query-tooltip] in the default signal handler.

Note that if both [propertyGtk.Widget:tooltip-text] and [propertyGtk.Widget:tooltip-markup] are set, the last one wins.

transitionType?: Adw.FlapTransitionType

the type of animation used for reveal and fold transitions.

[propertyFlap:flap] is transparent by default, which means the content will be seen through it with ADW_FLAP_TRANSITION_TYPE_OVER transitions; add the .background style class to it if this is unwanted.

How to distribute vertical space if widget gets extra space.

vexpand?: boolean

Whether to expand vertically.
